Here you'll find answers about what to anticipate at these gatherings and how to easily get in touch with the organizing team. What classes and groups are celebrating? This year we are celebrating the classes of the 0s and 5s at Reunion Weekend. Whether you're part of the 0s and 5s or simply interested in joining the celebration, we welcome all alumni and guests to register. Visit the Reunion Weekend page for more information on registration, events, and the Office of Alumni and Development contact details. I really want to go to reunion but it's not my reunion year, can I still go? Of course! Reunion Weekend is open to all alumni and their guests. The more the merrier! Join us in celebrating with the 0s and 5s! I need help with online registration If you are having trouble with online registration, please contact the Alumni and Development Office at (860) 404-4158 or alumni@avonoldfarms.com. How do I see who is attending? Check our See Who is Coming list once registration opens in July. If you don't see your friends on the list, encourage them to register! I am not arriving until after 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening, do I still have to pay for that day? No, we don’t expect you to pay if you are arriving after 9:00 p.m. Sign up for the days you will be attending meals and activities. Can I get contact information on other alumni before Reunion Weekend? You may search the Alumni Directory on our online community, AOF Alumni Network, and contact fellow alumni. I would love to see certain faculty members while I am there, how I can arrange that? Let us know who you'd like to see and we will pass the message along to the faculty member! How do I check in at Reunion? What are the check-in hours? Reunion check-in is located in the Tiernan Room in the Brown Student Center. Check-in begins on Friday at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Reunion attendees who arrive after 6:30 p.m. can check in at their Friday evening dinner location and Saturday in the reunion tent. Financial Assistance It is important to us that Reunion Weekend be available to anyone who wants to attend. If the packages are cost-prohibitive, please email alumni@avonoldfarms.com, and we will be happy to discuss this with you. Unfortunately, assistance is not available for transportation or accommodation costs. |
Reunion For Families |
I'd like to bring my kids to reunion, is that okay? What about other guests (spouses, friends, family)? Of course! Feel free to bring any guests of any age. Please note that we do not provide childcare during reunion. |

How do I make a gift to Avon in honor of my class? You can either make a gift when you register or make a gift at https://www.avonoldfarms.com/give Thank you for supporting Avon and your reunion class! |
Lodging |
Where can I stay? We’ve arranged discounted rates for alumni attending Reunion Weekend at hotels in the area. Rooms in the hotel blocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis while availability lasts. Please make sure that you understand the hotel’s cancellation policy before confirming your room. You can find a list of hotels on the main reunion webpage. Can I stay in a dorm on campus for Reunion Weekend? Currently, all of our dorms are filled with students, so it is not possible to stay in a dorm over the course of the weekend. |
Accessibility |
Is Reunion an accessible event? Yes, reunion is an accessible event, and we will try our best to accommodate everyone, ensuring comfortable participation for all. Where is the accessible parking located on campus? We have accessible parking in the Hockey Rink lot. Where are the accessible bathrooms located? The accessible bathrooms are located in the Brown Student Center. |
Food |
Whats on the menu? Reunion food offerings include options to fit any taste! Food options will be offered at events throughout the weekend and include everything from snacks to buffet to plated meals. Please share any dietary restrictions on your registration form. If you have specific menu questions, please call the Office of Alumni and Development after September 1, 2025. Are there vegetarian options? Yes, at all the meals, there will be vegetarian selections. Please indicate any dietary needs on your registration form. |

Reunion Weekend Photography |

Will there be a photo taken of my whole class during the weekend? Yes, on Saturday, at the end of lunch, we will gather classes and take photos of each group. Will photos be taken during Reunion Weekend? During reunion, your picture may be taken by our photographer and will be available on our school website photo album following the weekend. |

Connect to Our Wi-Fi |
How do I log into the wifi? Access to wifi will be provided. The username and password will be shared when you arrive on campus for Reunion Weekend. Is there somewhere I can charge my phone? Visit the Hospitality Lounge in the Tiernan Room located in the Brown Student Center. |
Alcohol and Smoking Policy |
Is smoking allowed on campus? Smoking is not permitted on school properties; in or near areas adjacent to buildings, tents, or athletic fields. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited except in reunion event spaces. Please keep alcohol within the confines of the event where it is served. The legal age for consumption of alcoholic beverages in Connecticut is 21. |

I want some AOF merch! Where and when can I find it? The School Store will be open on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You can also visit the school store online! Go to Hawk's Nest School Store. |

What is the suggested attire? Casual and comfortable – bring your Avonian throwback apparel and your favorite crimson and navy! September in Connecticut can be unpredictable so please dress accordingly. The dress for Saturday evening dinner is casual. |
Hospitality Lounge |
What are the hours for the Hospitality Lounge? The Hospitality Lounge is in the Reunion Check-In area in the Tiernan Room in the Brown Student Center. Grab a snack or beverage, charge up your device, and meet up with your classmates.

Campus Tours |
Campus has changed since I graduated. Are there campus tours available over the Reunion Weekend? Yes! We have student-led campus tours at set times throughout Friday and Saturday. Check out the weekend schedule to see the times. I love the library and can't wait to see it, will it be open? It wouldn't be a real trip down memory lane without a visit to the library. The library will be open Friday and Saturday. |
Pets |
Are pets allowed on campus? Pets are not now allowed in campus buildings, with the exception of service animals. |
Reunion Alumni Golf Scramble |
Is there an additional fee to participate in golf? Yes, there is an additional fee to play golf. You can add the golf option to your Reunion Weekend activities during the online registration. For more information about golf, contact Sarah Wallace at wallaces@avonoldfarms.com. Is the reunion golf scramble for alumni only? Golfing is open to anyone who wants to play! Alumni, spouses/partners, and your guests are welcome. How many holes will be played? 18 holes. Is lunch included for the golf scramble? Yes, lunch will be included. |
